Difficult Traffic


This is one from the archives of 2015,  a tourist ride with a couch and horses through the centre of Amsterdam. A few years ago the traffic was becoming more crowded in the city centre and it was rather stressfull for the horses and the drivers to find a safe way. So it was decided to cancel the rides.

Now the tourists can have a ride on a bicycle through the citty centre which is even more stressfull for everyone, the locals as the inexperienced wander about drivers

    If I had a choice I would choose the horse and carriage.

    Yes it could be hectic riding in Amsterdam. There are so many bikes. I nearly got hit by one when I was a tourist there because I looked the wrong way for traffic not being used to it on the opposite side to ours.
