Oostvaardersplassen in Almere is a vast swamp area, lakes and desert grasslands. Nature must have its course unhindered. Unique in the Netherlands. Typical for the landscape are the large herbivores, red deer, Heck cattle and Konik horses live in a natural way in wild herds. The terrain is not fully accessible, but there are places you have a good view with your binoculars. A lot of people were out there because of the sunny weather today.
