Bird's- eye view

Leidsestreet in Amsterdam from the Metz & Co building.
The two towers left are of the "Rijksmuseum", still in renovation alas!

  1. Renovations aside, that view from on high shows just how stunning and charming it is. It looks like a child's toy village... lovely!

  3. It's such a beautiful cityscape.

Have you made the train trip to Paris? I'm going to be in Paris for a while and I've contemplated going to Amsterdam as a day trip (yes, probably a long day trip!) - I heard it was 3.5 hours train trip.

  4. Amsterdam buildings are so iconic of that city. I love the architecture. I enjoyed visiting there in 2008.

  5. I like this view quite a bit.

The 2nd photo is especially nice, how flat the buildings are.
    Lovely!

  6. I indeed like the buildings, most those to the right at the first shot.
