The Erasmus Bridge is a cable stayed bridge across the New Meuse river, linking the northern and southern halves of the city Rotterdam. The bridge was designed by Ben van Berkel and completed in 1996. The 802 metre long bridge has a 139 metre-high asymmetrical pylon, earning the bridge its nickname of "The Swan".
See for more Sunday Bridges here
This one would be quite a sight to see as you approach the city.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenExcellent! A fine contribution to Sunday Bridges!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThat's a beautiful bridge and a dramatic sky. The bridge didn't exist when I lived in Holland back in the 1970s.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThat is a fabulous and very unique design for a bridge, beautiful shot!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThat bridge looks like a work of art!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenA shame that I haven't seen it in reality so far. Got to go and see it the next time when I'm in Holland.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenerg geslaagde foto !!
