This square head ( La tete au carre) is a 26 meter high monumental sculpture by Sacha Sosno in Nice, France. The funny part is that it is a Central Library! In 2000 the artist started with two architects to work at the first monumental inhabited sculpture in the world. The construction is entirely in aluminium and the first building shaped and raised thanks to naval techniques.
That is one weird piece of art or should I say building. Your photo really got my attention today.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenwow.
BeantwoordenVerwijderennot sure what to think of it, except it's funny, it doesn't take much to suggest a human head.
That is an amazing piece of work. I want to know more! Off to google now for some research!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI laughed when I discovered that the library is nicknames, "Thinking inside the box!" What a wonderful and innovative library, which apparently has three floors. Thanks for introducing us to it!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenA blockhead. I know some people like that. Never knew a sculpture would be done in their honor.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenAwesome!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThat is amazing!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenLoved the square head sculpture and the fact that it is a functional building - incredible.
