We didn't only watched buildings, I also like to spot people in the streets. In San Remo a Johnny Depp look-a-like passed by. Have no idea why, probably promoting something.

The Italian policemen wear nice fitting costumes and a very big A4 white leather bag at the back on their hips. You can see it with the right one, to keep their tickets in?

And all those scooters, what the bikes are for Amsterdam, are the scooters for the Italian cities. They have special parking places on the streets, marked with white stripes.

I am fond of shoes, but these were a bit above my budget and the heels are far to high for me.....

  1. dergelijke schoenen zijn ook niet meer voor mij,
    leuk reisverslag

  2. Nice street shots. You must have eyes that are always busy searching for that next shot.

  3. Great street scenes. Are you in Italy??? I've been away and haven't been able to keep up with you.

  4. my goodness. I didn't know what amazed me more, the heels or the scooters. Yipes!!!

  5. Remarkable variety in your street photos. Also love te shoes...a little pricey?

  6. Welcome Home. Missed you!
Love the photos, especially the street scenes.
Johnny Depp is in a movie filmed near me in Colorado this summer!

  7. I hope you have many more street views to show. As for the shoes, what justifies the price? The materials, hours of construction, what? Like paying hundres of dollars for a pair of pants with holes ripped into them. I don't get it.

  8. Wat een heerlijke straatfoto's en die schoenen ooh.... geweldig, ik kan alleen nog maar platte dragen jammer genoeg.

  9. yes, the shoes are too much for me, the price as well, hahahaha.
and yes, what a lot of scooters. at least they take less parking than here in the us; here they just take an entire spot, like a car!! i have seen now several times 2 motorbikes each taking their own spot the size of a car while they easily would have fit into 1!!

i prefer the real johnny depp... :)
