In the Kromslootpark in Almere you could see this summer three Alpacas from Peru. They are here to protect a flock of sheep. Because the lambs were raved by foxes many times, the mothers left the lambs behind. The Alpacas are not afraid of foxes and attack them so the flock is not harmed.
It is funny to see these exotic animals with their long neck in our park in the wild. I read it was an experiment until the end of August, but they are still here so I suppose it was a succes.
