Lots of snow we had yesterday but now sun is shining with -8 degrees C, so I had put on my boots and went for a walk. Suddenly I heard something behind me and this eldery man was passing on his bike. I like cycling very much but with snow no way, I am too scared to fall.
A few moments later this motor driver came along with his feet on the ground.
When this mother passed I heard the child complaining why he had such a stupid sledge, he wanted a real wooden one. Well I think he was right, this was an ugly plastic thing to sit on, I had never seen one like this before.
wow, I can't imagine riding a normal bike on the snow. The man must have known what he was doing!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI'd love to be there to play around with the snow, and take some photos, of course.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThe people on the bikes are either daring or crazy.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenBeautiful long shadows in your first picture. I think walking is the only sensible form of transport!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenSo many different modes of transportation. I think that I like your method the best: no noise and no complaints, just enjoying the scenery.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThat child has good taste Marianne, but his mum is just not buying it!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI am glad you confirmed my amazement to riding a bicycle in snow. That alone is something but doing it on skinny tires added to the fact he was elderly...wow!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenMoet wel moeilijk zijn met de fiets en brommer.

Very nice snow photos. I had a wooden sled - I agree with this child. I love the scooter in the snow - YIKES, my scooter is in the garage for winter for we are belly high in snow. I also like the snow on the door handle in your previous post. You take lovely photos.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThe snow-covered limbs and long shadows of your last photo are beautiful and that red sled is a great pop of color.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenBises,
Genie
The fun part of the snow, before it turns into slush.
BeantwoordenVerwijderensmart boy!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenwe bought a plastic bigger one for adults, but we still have not been able to use it.... :(
-8° I would be staying inside even though it looks like fun.
