I went to a great exhibition in Rotterdam about the French fashion designer Jean Paul Gaultier. He is one of the most influential and progressive fashion designers of the last thirty-five years. He is most well known for his blue and white striped Breton shirts and the famous corsets with ponted bra cups, which he designed for icons like Madonna and Lady Gaga.
The dolls had interactive faces which changed and moved and was amazing to watch.
The master himself was also present in a hairy Breton sweater, making funny faces.
The famous corset Madonna wore in her show.
It is an amazing exhibition with over hundred and forty creations from the nineteen-seventies to the present day.
Interesting...

Mooie foto's. Grappig dat de gezichtsuitdrukkingen steeds veranderden.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI do like the hairy breton sweater, some of the designs are rather interesting - its great that you have such interesting exibits to attend. Interesting Post.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenHet is inderdaad een geweldige ontwerper. Die punt bh's vind ik eigenlijk wel minder haha
BeantwoordenVerwijderenAn impressive show. Would love to see it
BeantwoordenVerwijderenYikes! I guy could poke his eye out on those things.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenNou, nou - daar kun je wel een punt mee tekenen !

interesting.
BeantwoordenVerwijdereni think its amazing how somehow everyone knows about that corset and that madonna wore it, isnt it?
That would have been a great show to see. The mannequins with moving faces are a hoot.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenCaT,
BeantwoordenVerwijderenYes amazing indeed. The world is becoming smaller, everything is known worldwide. I was pretty excited to see the corset so close.
I think that I would find the striped shirts more comfortable to wear than the lethal bra cups!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenYup I agree with Kate , the breton stripes are more appealing, although a lot less eye catching haha. Would have been a fabulous exhibition Marianne.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenVi esta exposición en Madrid hace unos meses y me gustó mucho.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenTambien hice fotografías de tan interesantes trabajos.
Saludos
