Friday Fences

An iron fence in front of a canal house in Amsterdam. It has four arrows, but I have no idea what that means. And of course the inevitable bicycles put against the stairs.

  2. My type of fence. I love wrought iron work. And the stone steps are beautiful too.

  3. Prachtig siersmeedhek. Ja, wat zou er voor verhaal of geschiedenis achter zitten?

  4. Now this is very different. I love the iron work and arrows, the railing and just the solidity of the photo. Yah, the bikes are always there, eh :)

  8. Don't think I would have noticed the arrows had you not mentioned it. If they were pointing to a heart, we might have some idea as to the meaning.

  9. Good thing you pointed out the arrows I'd have never seen them. I had to look to find them. It's a very fine railing.

  10. Dearest Marianne,
Very decorative cast iron fence again. One would love to know what exactly it does symbolize...
    Hugs and happy weekend!
