Well, at least you still have your sense of humor. That's good. Get well soon.
If you've had the vaccination then hopefully it won't take you too long to feel human again.
It is pure misery. I had the shot, too, and then I caught the worst stomach virus that took 10 days to get over. Hopefully, having the shot will make the flu much less serious. Take care and keep those fluids going in.
I never get a flu shot. They make vaccinations for a strain of virus on the best guess as to which strain they think will be the likely one to surface for the season. One vaccination cannot cover all the different types of viruses out there. It's a crap shoot. Take care, get rest and be well.
I hope you get better soon.
Dearest Marianne,Flu can really knock a person down and yes, best we look at our felines and learn from them. That's exactly the advice my husband Pieter received from our doctor after his open heart surgery... So just let go, rest and drink and eat well and you fluff back!Hugs and best wishes.Mariette
Curl up with Sofietje and get better soon.
ooohh noo!! get well soon!me and tim were both sick with the flu over a year ago. it lasted forever and was horrible indeed....hope its over soon!!
Oh no...it is a horrible flu season. Please don't let this keep you from getting next yrs shot. There are over 100 labs, world wide, that study these viruses all year...to make the right selection. Even when it doesn't match....enough of the antibodies are present to give you a better chance.. Get Well Soon!
I agree with John @ Sinbad on the loose .....and besides, whatever they put in those flu shots, I am allergic to - I found out the hard way after 7 horrible days in hospital. Hope you mend soon.
oh no!!! Do take care with hot tea and bedrest. I hope you have the little cat curled up next to you! It helps!
Just checking back and hoping that you are better...
Get well soon!
