its long ago since i was on a boat in the amsterdam canals... but now its too grey and cold for me!
Hello, I like your blog. Love those interesting and beautiful pictures you took... :)Denise
A bar, of course!
Our yellow cabs are a great deal different from yours, plus no bars!
ha, very cute. And you can't miss it!
A nice way to get from one spot to another as long as you're not in a hurry.
Sounds like it could be a touristy taxi Marianne.
And the taxi is nicely framed by the house boats tied up on the side of the canal.
The yellow really makes it stand out. I've seen water taxis before but only in Venice.
Doet me denken aan de watertaxi in Vancouver, daar helemaal niet duur en een erg leuke manier om je te verplaatsen naar een ander deel van de stad.
Hee daar had ik nog niet van gehoord, goed idee, geen files in ieder geval.
Its a good idea we have them on Sydney harbour.
I looked at your picture and it reminded me of something – I was not sure what, then I remembered – there are water taxis in Venice too, that is where I saw them. There is also a lot of water traffic on the canals, and too many tourists, but it is still fun to watch.
This looks exactly like the canal I stayed on in a boat house for a week. It looks SO familiar. Love the yellow water taxi. You can’t miss that one.
Dearest Marianne,Wow, that is a fact I didn't know either... Looks great for using this service and you might need to keep warm with something to drink during winter time. Maybe an Irish coffee?Hugs,Mariette
Yellow is a great colour for a taxi.
Awesome picture and interesting post too.
Very nice :)
