Pinned Up at the Stedelijk

After all the white of yesterday, you can see the Stedelijk Museum has its dark parts too. This is an exhibition called "Pinned Up" about "Marcel Wanders (1963)" a dutch designer, internationally renowed for his product, furniture and interior designs and original art direction.

His most famous design is the Knotted Chair made of rope and wrought to make it stiff.

  1. Love the clock! I think I could even read that from a distance with or without my glasses. ;-)

  2. The lamp and the clock I like very much - Now the rooster on top of the microwave....not so much - got me thinking about the ?leg of his buddy inside the oven? People dream up the weirdest DESIGNS sometimes.

  8. Dearest Marianne,
That would be lovely to wander around and admire Marcel Wanders' special art. Love the microwave with the old fashioned 60s Dutch TV 'beeldbuis'.
Interesting follow up on yesterday's escalators and stairs.
    Hugs,
    Mariette
