The Albert Cuyp Market in Amsterdam is a daily market with vegetables, fish, clothes, flowers and many other things. I used to live here around the corner long ago and came by every day. When I am now in Amsterdam I can't resist a tour over the market.
The herring stall, a typical dutch treat.
There is always something exotic, cactus figs.
Here you can buy old furcoats or fleeces.
These corsets are handbags!
And more handbags.
Gee! I was thinking, maybe, about a fur coat without the horns. :-)
BeantwoordenVerwijderenha,h Revrunner funny comment. I love this. I love markets. I would love to stroll here. Lovely photos.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI love markets...and to think you use to walk through there every day. I guess you never know what you will find! Ha!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenDefinitely had to enlarge these shots Marianne, so much to see here.. weekend markets are so much fun.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThose are some wild items to find at a market. I'd love to be there to take part in the shopping. Not sure I'd be interested in the sheep head. And the bags are just a bit wild. Sure would draw attention, however.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenLOVE the handbags!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThose handbags are just adorable! I think I'd even buy one! Very fun shopping along with you here! Fun and exciting place.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI just have to add this, those owl handbags are just a hoot!
