Crowds

With many people having holidays between Christmas and New Year,  Amsterdam is overloaded with visiters. This is the famous shopping street the Kalverstreet.

The flowermarket.

Crossing the street at the green light in long queues.

  9. A car! What's a car doing there? I wondered why the flower bag sign is in English then I figured it was aimed for the tourist. Too many people. I'm beginning not to do well with large crowds as I grow older.

  11. You've caught a street scene with lots of excitement. I definitely wouldn't want to be in such a crowd.

  13. Dearest Marianne,
That is very busy and such medieval cities have narrow streets as well! Makes it warmer in winter though...
