Riding in a tram (streetcar) through Amsterdam gave me some interesting spots to watch closely. Here a bridge has to be replaced but the tram has to ride on anyway. Traffic is redirected, cyclists and pedestrians have a temporary bridge behind.
The water has gone temporary and replaced by sand.
The work has to be done in a narrow space with a riding tram behind the construction workers.
And as we are on the subject of renovation we do the street behind the bridge as well.

Looks very messy while it is being done...but good for them. I am sure the finished product will be an improvement.
