Reflections

The Municipal Museum in The Hague had two exhibibitions I wanted to see, especially the romantic fashion one at the left billboard.

But the line was so huge, this was only the first part of it, it went endless on around the corner outside. We didn't feel like standing there after all the travel we had made to come here. So maybe another time and went on to see other interesting things in The Hague.

  1. You should go back. can you become a member & skip the queues? We have a lot of fashion exhibitions opening and on in London at the moment, it must be dare I say it, 'fashionable'. (Sorry) I heard that Alexander McQueen at the V&A nearly sold out, it hasn't even opened yet. I want to see Vivenne Westwood in Danson House, a local exhibition.

  3. Ik hou er ook niet van om aan te moeten sluiten in zo´n lange rij. Zonde van de tijd.

  4. Marianne, isn't that an intriguing pond. The line is way too long for me, and I'd be like you going on to see something else.

  5. Yikes! You'll have to come back with a collapsing stool and snacks.

  6. The line would bother me too- I'd try to figure out the best time to pay a visit, when it's less likely to be busy.

  7. I'm going to have to start looking at a map so that I understand where you are going. My knowledge of the geography of Holland is pretty weak.

  8. Nice reflection. I wonder if they take reservations? I know we did that online for the Ann Frank House (in Amsterdam), and was able to walk right n.

  10. Had to stand in a line this morning at the pharmacy. I plugged the earphones in, turned on some classical music and was transformed elsewhere. I avoid lines at all costs but this time it was unavoidable. Just dealt with it.
