The flag parade along the Court pond in The Hague with the Dutch Parliament buildings at the left.
This is the inner courtyard of the Parliament buildings with the "Ridderzaal" (Knight Hall) where the King in september reads the King's speech to open the Parliaments year.
The nice gateway to enter or leave the inner courtyard.
You can see the history here Marianne, wonderful architecture. I can tell you our Parliament buildings in Perth are not nearly as attractive :)
BeantwoordenVerwijderenEuropean countries have marvelous agentries and traditions.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenWhat stunning architecture, and just seeing within this lovely courtyard it makes me think of one in Bath, England.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenIt all looks as if you were at Disneyland here.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenNice. All looks like being in a fairy tale.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenVery attractive place !
BeantwoordenVerwijderenMooi stukje Nederlandse historie en traditie.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenLooks pretty!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenVery majestic and beautiful buildings.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenMake sure you work hard to keep these beautiful buildings. Here old buildings are bulldozed right away.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI love the photo with the flags and that billowy cloud behind The Hague.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThe Knight Hall particularly draws my attention. Beautiful shots!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThis is such a beautiful place. The gate is wonderful and I do like those turrets.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenDearest Marianne,
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThe Hague is a very beautiful and important city; being the government seat of the country and a proud capital of South Holland!
Hugs,
Mariette
