At the information center in Creil you can watch a show garden full of different tulips.
The information center has a very pretty garden.
With some sculptures.
And places to sit and have a drink. The dog belongs to the center and liked to keep the visitors company as a real host.
And guess what, on our way home the bridge openend again!
I stepped out of the car to see what huge cargo ship was passing but I could only see two of those little sailing boats! That's why the whole traffic had come to a standstill.
The tulips are so colourful. I wish it were happening here. Spring is off to a slow start here.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenOh, thank you for showing us these wonderful tulips! What a wonderful array of shapes and colors!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenAnd the "sailors" were no doubt smiling as they passed. :-)
BeantwoordenVerwijderenTulips are one of my favorites. They grow well here but we don't have fields of them.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenYes a very pretty garden Marianne.. So many different types of tulips! Must have been a yacht race or something :)
BeantwoordenVerwijderenFabulous colours..... and the information centre garden is lovely.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenLooks like you're having good weather!

BeantwoordenVerwijderenOh those are pretty. Such a beautiful place to visit!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenMy favourite flower. They are so lovely!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenDearest Marianne,
BeantwoordenVerwijderenOh my sure it doesn't look fair for so many cars having to wait for the drawn up bridge; only to let a few mini boats pass below...
Your tulip photos are gorgeous and what lovely gardens.
Hugs,
Mariette
Gorgeous tulips! I love that they have a dog in the information center's garden.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI just saw on google maps that Creil is quite close to Giethoorn.
What a great place.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenAnd the dog-host is a beauty!:)
I know there are organised trips from Norway to Holland to SEE the Tulips, and I saw some in your photos that I have never seen here up in the north of Europe.
What a day - abel to see all those wonderful tulips.
