Hotel

We stayed in a very fancy hotel in Copenhagen situated in a new area .

It had two towers conected with a bridge at the 23th floor.

The entrance hall looked like you were entering an airfield with incheck bars.

It was overwhelming to look around.

There was a bar with plants on the wall.

The hall to the elevators.

The room didn't had a great view.

And a see through bathroom.

There were no curtains but when you pushed a button a screen came down covering the complete wall.

This was the view over the city from the top floor.

  1. I think the "airfield" description is spot on. :-)

  2. Looks like the inside of a hangar. Gee, when I first saw the plants, it looked like a small mountain outside the window in that fourth photo. I wouldn't be too thrilled with the view, so that was ill planned by the hotel. All rooms should have a view, regardless of the design. It looks like a great building, but some disappointments with views - does look rather magnificent though.

  3. What a spectacular hotel, even if the view was not the same. The first shot of the exterior is terrific.

  4. Mooie weerspiegelingen overal. En het detail van die 3 roze zitjes in de hal is ook bijzonder.

  7. The new hotel is interesting but I prefer the old part of town.

  8. Very unusual and quite eye catching! I've never seen anything like it.

  9. Too stark and modern for me! There is a cold feeling about the interior that's not inviting and cozy. Wonderful view though.

  10. Dearest Marianne,
    Very futuristic hotel!
Never mind the view as most of the time one is sight seeing and you solved it by going to the top room for a great over view of the city!
Loved seeing the down duvets though; that means a cozy bed. For the last ten years we see more and more down duvets here in the USA as well - finally!
    Hugs,
    Mariette
