A mural made by the same artist "Fabrice" (1961) as I posted last week, see "here". It was also in the same neighbourhood.
The image dates from 2013 and is related to the sign above, a firm advertising for Asiatic jewelery, furniture and utensils, located around the corner. The Indian demigod with elefants head "Ganesha" represents something new, a new impetus, a new direction.

Um pequeno mas muito interessante mural ao estilo indiano.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenUm abraço e boa semana.
Cute... a mural with many hands.
BeantwoordenVerwijderendemigods get around
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThere are quite a lot of symbols in that mural.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenGreat job with this find. Looks like there is some graffiti above the mural, so disappointing when people mess things up. Love the transportation.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenToo bad about the tags, but it's a nice image!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenNice little Indian style mural, certainly fits the shop.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenA very nice Indian mural !
BeantwoordenVerwijderenA shame about the tagging.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenDat is mooi gedaan.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI like these photos, they are very colourful and there are bikes and scooters :)
BeantwoordenVerwijderenNicely done!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenColourful and lovely mural, very nice details.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenVery Indian indeed. I thought for a moment that was you peering into the shop.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenMy immediate impulse is to study it. Lots going on. Interesting.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenFunny how the traffic sign almost looks like part of the mural. :-)
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThe arms in the middle of the picture geve motion and reaching out. Yes, a mural that makes us stop and think.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI wonder what it is about Ganesha that draws street artists? We have a few examples here in Oakland. Yours has a decidedly psychedelic feel to it. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenDearest Marianne,
BeantwoordenVerwijderenLooking funny for a mural in Amsterdam but at least it is a very nice one!
Hugs,
Mariette
