School trip

A large group of foreign, english speaking school children was finding their way through Amsterdam.

Beware of the traffic. They looked rather young for a schooltrip abroad, but maybe I am to old to estimate the correct age. I was sixteen when I had an exchange program with school to Liverpool and stayed at an english speaking family with a girl of my age for a week. That same girl stayed at my house in Amsterdam during Easter.

Must be exciting for them to explore an other country. You'll learn more than from books.

  3. That brings back memories. I took a group of 30, 10 and 11yr olds on a school trip to Amsterdam. They were not on an exchange trip and we stayed in a hotel outside Amsterdam but I can't remember the name of the place now. That was in 2005.

  5. They do look quite young. I have to agree with you, travel certainly broadens the mind, probably better than just learning history or geography from a book in a classroom!

  13. That does seem young for a school group to be in a foreign country. I don't remember all that much from trips at that age except having fun with my friends.
