Last weekend we had an Antique and Curiosity market in our village at the Harbour Days. I like it to watch all the old items, some of them remember me of my parents interior.
I like dolls, I played so often with them as a child and they all had their own names.
In that zinc tub at the right I had may bath in the kitchen, we didn't have a bathroom in the houses in Amsterdam during the fourties and part of the fifties. My parents had a bath in a bathhouse outside the house.
Interesting items. I wonder how many will actually be sold?
BeantwoordenVerwijderenOne of my favourite things to do Marianne, even if I don't often come away with anything. The fun is in looking oui 😊
BeantwoordenVerwijderenWhat would someone have used that giant green bottle for?
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI also like to look at markets, some of the old stuff is quite interesting.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenA good place to just wander around and see what you can find.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenTegenwoordig wordt alles 'brocante' genoemd. Maar soms zitten er toch erg leuke dingen tussen!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenA couple of those small cabinets would suit me nicely.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI love to look at old things for the same reason. This looks like an interesting market. I hope someone gave the MonaLisa a new home!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenLooks like a wonderful vintage fair and love the old dolls. I too loved my dolls and had names for them all.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenHappy weekend
Hugs

Our bathtub was the same. It was a different age when we grew up.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI love flea markets, but rarely do I buy something.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI would also like to watch all things like these. The dolls are lovely.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenNice series.
Some nice bits and pieces at the brocante
