The Vischpoort (Fishgate) is the entrance to the old hanseatic city of Elburg.
The gate dates from 1592.
The city is famous because of its medieval fortress walls.
It has very nice straight streets with special pebbles pavements.
Some of them are made of white cobblers with inlaid figures of black cuttings.
