This building used to be a high-end fashion store "Maison de Bonneterie". The Amsterdam store was founded in 1889 and opened in 1909 in a Parisian style building.The interior was magnificent with a round stair to the top. A first for Amsterdam was the "showcase" behind the window, the shop"-window". In 2014 it was closed and now it houses another "fashion brand" with two capitals.....
