Elm seeds

It looks like snow or blossom, but Amsterdam is covered with seeds of the Elm trees.  As it hasn't rained for some time, and with a strong wind blowing, it is spreading through the whole city.
This is a very beautiful part of Amsterdam  "the Princes island" with old warehouses, now renovated in dwelling houses.

  1. It is fabulous how they have renovated those warehouses into posh apartments. I remember seeing them when we were there. The Elm seeds are amazing.

  2. The elm seeds look like confetti!
Here, many elm trees have been cut down because of elm disease. It's good to see them flourishing in Amsterdam.

    Enjoy your day!

  3. Fascinating buildings! I love those windows. The elm seeds are interesting too. I wonder if the birds like to eat them.

  4. pretty, pretty!

  5. CaT,
