This is a passage for cyclists and pedestrians under a high school in Amsterdam, the "Amsterdam Lyceum". As a child I lived here nearby and passed many times. I never noticed the beauty of the bricks before, it is almost like a church.

BeantwoordenVerwijderenI have to wonder how they built this. It might have been a steel structure with applied brick. Usually with gothic buildings the stone is large and self-supporting.
