Monday Mural

I don't see so much murals anymore in the streets lately but yesterday I spotted one in the city of Arnhem. It is painted on the wall of a jewellery shop but have no further information what it is about.

I think it just cheers up the white wall with this woman with flowers in her hair.

  1. The mural adds a great splash of colour to the otherwise bare wall.

  2. Certainly this will attract attention!

Thank you for the plant name translations, interestingly bramble is a Scottish word,in England it's called blackberry. I've noticed that many northern european words are closer to scots than english.

    Best wishes,

  4. Oh, this is quite lovely and very well done - would be neat to meet one of these wall artists and actually watch them create these wonderful murals.

  5. I like it too! Very appropriate for the shop, I think. And it's wonderful how the flowers' colors pop out against the monochrome figure.

  7. When I first looked at the mural I wondered about it's background. It looks African. It's very colorful and lively.

  8. Nicely done. For some reason I thought it might be on a hairdresser's wall.
