Explosion of Red

Walking in Amsterdam I encountered this dazzling music band which was performing at the Rembrandt square.

I had no idea what this was all about. I looked it up at home on internet and found out this is the "Doe Mar Wa" band from Bakel in the south of our country which mostly performes at carnival parties. They make their own costumes which must be a lot of work. I don't know why they were in Amsterdam, it is no carnival time yet, maybe they were having an outing together.

    Sounds and looks as if they bring their own carnival, b, even though the percussion section looks like it could use a few beers. :-)
