I am impressed to see geese in parade formation. It also put a smile on face. :-)
Lovely - I do enjoy seeing a gaggle of geese, they appear to be very obedient birds
Dearest Marianne,A very welcome change to daily life's views... Geese are lovely and so are ducks when following! We loved that sight in Indonesia where they marched so elegantly. Happy October to you,Mariette
Nice - ff The Pied Piper of the Netherlands. Very cool indeed. They certainly are beautiful. Our own Canadian Geese have not left yet for the winter, as our weather has been so nice. They still linger in the field by the stream and the babies have grown beautifully . Lovely Photos.
Please tell me they weren't destined for someone's dinner table.
I bet they came to see the classic car too.Peace :)
That would be fun to see. It surely would be easier than herding cats.
So could you buy a goose? My Grandma raised this variety of Geese.
No, they were not for sale, just for marching around so now and than.
Red asked the question that popped into my mind....could you buy a goose to take home? I understand that geese can really be trained for simple things like following a whistle.
How cute to see them follow like that!
Ik heb jarenlang in Coevorden gewoond, waar elk jaar in november de Ganzenmarkt gehouden wordt. Dit deed me daar, op kleinere schaal, meteen aan denken. Leuke foto's!
Dunking the head in the water is a rather unusual touch!
Good that they were contained or things could get a little slippery!
That is so cute! Love that first pic - seems so out of place - a bunch of geese waddling down a city street!
Beautiful geese I used to live near the German border where once a year huge flocks of Canadian geese landed in the paddocks
So cute shots.
oh my goodness!!!I'm glad they weren't to be sold for dinner. They look like a lot of fun.The first photo is great!!
I never knew geese would follow a whistle. The things I learn from your blog!
