 After two years we had at last a Fair here. It was nice to see the kids having fun in this crazy back and forward moving attraction.

At the fair in Almere Haven.

Ducklings

At the fair yesterday in Almere Haven. Little children had to lift up speedy passing ducklings with a fishing rod to win a price. It was fun to look at, had never seen it before.

Autumn Fair

The autumn fair at Dam Square in Amsterdam, in front of the Palace.

It was a misery rainy day.

Not much interest for the carousel in the rain.

The witch at the haunted house. It is not my favourite interest to visit a noisy fair but I just passed by on my way to the exhibition at the right.

Spring Fair

Building up a fair is a lot of work and especially in the center of a crowded city as Amsterdam with not so much space.

Many trucks with requisites had to find their way as these seats for a scary ride in the sky.

The wheel was already prepared.

But the truck with gondolas has yet to be unloaded. Tomorrow all must be ready for the start of spring fair.

Dam square

When walking in Amsterdam at the moment you can hear from far a lot of noise, the fair at Dam square has arrived. At one of the most crowded squares of Amsterdam all these huge machines are placed in front of the historic palace and New Church. Maybe I am getting old but I don't like it, the loud music and sweeping and turning machines at the wrong place. 

We moved on the the nearby department store for a tea with cake on the topfloor where we had a nice view down.

And up.

And the New Church. The window was not so clean, so there are some blurs to see.

And trying to make a photo of the Royal Palace there was that fair again!

Thanks for all the nice comments at my post of yesterday, it was fun to go back in time and I will try to make such a post again.

Skywatch Friday
