 At the hall of  many trainstations in big cities you can find a piano where you are invited to play on. This one is at the Amstel Station in Amsterdam. It sounds wonderful in such a big environment and some people are really talented. Linking to "Our World Tuesday"

Heron

 On a walk in the surroundings last Sunday I saw a big bird high up in a tree. It happened to be a heron.

Never knew they sit in trees I only see them flying in the air or walking along the water. Linking to

Gouda

 Modern condominiums  are built close to an old windmill in Gouda. A modern windmill you can see at the left.

They have a look at the river "Hollandse IJssel" a busy river with big cargo ships.

Prince's Day

 Last year Sofietje was very interested in the King's speech at "Prince's Day" the yearly opening of the parlement. Today there will be a new speech to unfold the plans for this year. Without a complete parlement and many quarrels for a year already now, everybody is curious what the plans for our country will be.  Linking to "Our World Tuesday"

Cat Cafe

I had a drink in the "Cat Cafe" in Almere. Several cats are walking around and you can pet them while having a tea or coffee.

Some sit on a pole.

This beauty was playing and had been drinking water under my chair.

 I was cooking yesterday and squirted  liquid butter into the pan when I suddenly saw this smiling face appearing. Had done nothing was just watching what happened and grabbed my I-phone to make a photo! It was so weard to see this! Linking to "Our World Tuesday"
