Signs

In the village Vreeland this remembrance stone stood on the "anniversary lane" along the river Vecht. It was placed to celebrate the existance of  50 years Kingdom of the Netherlands.

Sheep

There were some unusual sheep in Vreeland, they looked like fat teddybears.

He didn't want to turn around for a better view. Linking to "Our World Tuesday"

 

Monday Mural

 Saw a mural yesterday in Vreeland "De Duiventil" (the Dovecot). Don't know exactly what the building is used for. The weather was too bad to have a good look around. We almost rained away.

Vreeland

Today in a little wed village Vreeland with my daughter, son- in-law and hubby.

It is a little village situated along the river Vecht.

With lovely teahouses along the river in early days used by the nobel residents.

And a pretty windmill.
