Nostalgic

I am in a nostalgic mood I think, it is raining like mad here at the moment so no way to go out for making pictures. This is me, 22 years, old in London in 1970 on our delayed honeymoon. It was the time of  "maxi-fashion" so I wore a very long coat and I see I was pencil thin at that time. I am sitting on a bench along the river Thames. Watch the old cars behind me!  In 2010 we were in London again and I decided to look for this bench to make a picture again.

 

And guess what, it was still there after 40 years! I only forgot I had to sit down the other way around. No parking cars behind me anymore and the pencil has gone too.
