Cycling Country

From young to old, almost everybody has a bike.

And than take a rest along the Gooi lake

Modern Parenting

 Father cycling with his son, a todler in the backseat and the baby in the trailer.

And than they meat a horsewoman.

Riding her own horse from the riding school a little further away. That is the quiet rural place I live.

Birthday

 Today my hubby "sccollections" has his 76th birthday. As long as I know him he always has a camera in his hands. 

Blooming

We have a summer with lots of sun and rains, so nature is blooming all around. Here between the footpath and the cyclepath at the dike. The floodings in our country you probably heard or read about have not affected the part where we live. So we are safe.
 

Playing games

At the dike here there were children having fun with some organized games.  There is always wind here so it was a challenge to stay upright on a rolling skateboard and blown forwards with a big screen.

 

Others had to take a  kind of skelter ride over an obstacle.

It was good to see the kids having fun and use their energy after the long closure of the schools.

Cold

Gooi-lake

We were shooting  the Cormorants sitting on the poles of the fishing nets and waiting to take a dive to catch a fish.

Weekend

It is weekend and the sporty cyclists have to make their rounds.

It is more fun for two.

Skywatch

I am not the only one who "goes for a dike"  here in Almere  to have  a walk. The skies are always beautiful.

Optical illusion

A horse without legs? No,  seen from above the dike, there is a raised cycling path  meandering down the dike and she is riding in the lawn behind that.

A Still

An image at the dike here, used by many for a bit of fresh air. It is almost a painting, the man leaning backwards to keep the 1,5 meter distance between him and the talking woman. The dog lying down as it takes so long before they are moving on...

Walk

A lonely walk over the dike in Almere Haven yesterday. The prime-minister of our country told us yesterday by speech on television that the restrictive measures have been extended to April 28.
