Birthday

I had my birthday last week without visitors this year. Limited visitors allowed I decided to cancel all of them and had a quiet day. But I received a beautiful bouquet of my daughter, and she sent me a chocolate bar  of Tony Chocolonely by mail!

Sofietje celebrated  my "party" with a dance on the table.

My neighbor hung up a few petunias in a basket and we both like the look.

Roof

After 40 years living here and some leaks in the attic recently after the many rains we had during spring, we needed a new roofing on the house last week. We were lucky with the good weather and it was fixed by two men without fear of heights.

The new Normal

Last week my daughter and son in law came along  for a visit. We had a nice sunny afternoon with appropriate distance in the garden.

Housework

What else can you do in the lockdown, cleaning the windows for instance?

Sun

We are lucky to have suddenly warm summer temperatures now and have our own  garden to enjoy the sun without 1,5 meters distance. Carried all the garden stuff from the attic down to the garden yesterday.

And made a bike ride in the surroundings.
