Fall was rather late this year, we still have trees with lots of green leaves, but at this cemetary in Amsterdam the graves and the paths were covered with fallen leaves.
I understand that the leaves have to be removed, but these guys made a lot of noise with their motorized blowers. We didn't have those protectors on our ears, where are the good old rake and broom?
ha, yes. The rake and broom didn't use gas either.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenVery nice view, Bieb. I hope you are well!
Blowers make for an easy job but are very annoying to others around, much like jet skies - fun for the rider, and irratation for everyone else. You could have done a before and after photo, but no doubt you didn't want to stick around any longer than you had to once the leaf rearrangers arrived.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI hate leaf blowers and can't understand why they have to be so loud. I like the leaves!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI still use my broom and rake Marianne, but everyone else I know uses the blower thingy, they really spoil a peaceful day. Mind you, there are an awful lot of leaves there, I might just be tempted there haha!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenZo mooi eigenlijk dat rode blad, jammer dat het allemaal weg moet, maar ja... Ze maken inderdaad een verschrikkelijke herrie.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenWe are taken to cemetaries after the autumn of our lives. Hugs my dear friend.

They do make a lot of noise. ...but much faster. Pretty leaves!
BeantwoordenVerwijdereni never understand why they have to remove the leaves! wont it happen somehow, eventually by wind and so on..?
BeantwoordenVerwijderenand i hate the blowers! here at our apt complex they start far too early in the morning, no way you can continue sleeping then... :( (a friend told me that they are forbidden in israel, because of the noise! so there they are back to the broom...)
Ik laat de bladeren gewoon liggen en neem er foto's van
BeantwoordenVerwijderenze verdwijnen uiteindelijk van zelf !
