The day after the blizzard of Friday, Saturday was bright and sunny and although it was rather cold, most people enjoyed the sudden snow fun and went out with sleds.
It is always big fun at the dike to take a ride on the sled down.
When you are a tiny dog you have to cope with the sudden white world.
The funniest part is that today all the snow has gone, temperatures went up and it rained all night, so it was fun for one day.
I'm up early to enjoy the view of our first big snowfall, although I do not intend to venture out as the people in your photos have done. It's still dark here, no snowplows have come through yet so it is still pristine and beautiful. I doubt that our snow will soon disappear. It never does!!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenIt amazes me how the cold doesn't seem to bother the children as much as the adults!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenWell that is one good thing about snow. If you are young you can have fun playing in it.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenKids know how to have fun. Welcome to a world where we are seeing vast changes in the weather from day to day.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenHeerlijke sneeuwpret voor de kinderen. Hier is alles weg.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenIt seems like you have to get out there and enjoy it like this Marianne, a. Before it disappears or b. before it gets to heavy. I'd certainly like to have the opportunity!
BeantwoordenVerwijderennice!! here only rain yesterday... and no snow at all....
BeantwoordenVerwijderenHere in Alabama, we usually only get a one day snow, if any. This year it's doubtful. It's December and we're not even wearing coats yet!

Jammer dat de sneeuw al weer zo gauw verdwenen is. Wachten op de volgende.. De winter duurt nog lang.
