Souvenirs

At the flower market at the Singel in Amsterdam you can buy all kind of bulbs to put in your garden and after some time you have a garden filled with flowers. It is an important export product of our country and many tourists visit this market to take home the bulbs.

You can also buy the bulbs in a wooden shoe.

And take a magnet as a souvenir on your refrigerator.
I must admit that I started to take magnets from my travels abroad a few years ago and have one side of my frige full of memories, I like to watch while cooking.

    I love the magnets, when I visit any place I always get a Christmas decoration for my tree and in Amsterdam I got teeny wooden shoes. Love them.

    Fabulous markets Marianne..I think probably the only thing I would be able to bring back into Australia through our customs would be a fridge magnet, they're soooo strict!
