In the City Hall of Oslo in Norway this huge mural catches your eye when entering the main hall. It is made by "Henrik Sorensen" and claims to be the biggest mural of Europe. The images express Work, Art and Celebration. This hall is each year used to award the Nobel Peace Prize.
I made some details.
The King returning to Norway from his exile after WW II, is the man with the cap at the right shaking hands.

BeantwoordenVerwijderenA strange style to the mural. It looks as if done with crayons.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenAh, more murals by Sorensen. So interesting to see. I notice that the composition has the figures in a line as in an ancient frieze. Very classical looking. Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.
