After one frosty night the leaves which were still on the trees, have suddenly come down all together.
They make a nice coloured tapestry.
The remains of the heavy storm of October 28 are still visible, here in the nearby park. The electric saws used by the men of the public works we hear around us daily.
Hate seeing big trees come down, but love the pretty leaves.......especially that second photo.!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThe power of wind has it's brightside but it also has a darkside.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenA very lovely tapestry.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenWhat beautiful photos of the leaves. It is even more beautiful when you are flying over such a scattered leaf area in the late autumn and is just beautiful. That was a big tree that came down. I did look at photos when you had that storm. Have a good day my friend :)
BeantwoordenVerwijderenmy goodness. It's so sad to see such huge roots of an upturned tree.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenhope you are well, Bieb!
The weather changes so rapidly! The middle photo is beautiful and indeed does represent a tapestry.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenL'automne est une saison magnifique et les feuilles nous démontrent l'étendu du panel de couleurs!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenErg mooi, ik krijg nooit genoeg van herfstkleuren.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI like the second photo, looks like a carpet. Carpet makers could make one just like it. Probably wouldn't be popular though.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenYour leaves are still very colorful even when they are on the ground. Our leaves are under 60 cm of snow.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenhow pretty!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenand wow, a lot of trees must have gone down?
Dearest Marianne,
BeantwoordenVerwijderenIt is exactly like the beautiful carpet at the Mohegan Sun's Casiono of The Earth, in Connecticut where you walk over a carpet from spring to winter. Those fall leaves look like your photo above!
We found it incredible the way that was done when our boss in Connecticut took us over there for dinner one evening.
Your 2nd photo is fabulous!
Hugs and happy weekend!
Mariette
It always seems like the leaves are so beautiful and then a gust of wind and the leaves are gone!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThe leaf carpet is stunning as too is the light and reflections.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI love the autumn colors! I like your second photograph the best!! Here in the mountains of South Carolina, USA we no longer have the leaves since we have had really cold weather the last three weeks.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenCheck out my blog, picture posted of our autumn leaf colors a few days before we had temperatures in the low teens and gusty wind. Rich Colors of Autumn All our leaves are gone now.
You have a lot o fbeautiful pictures on yuour site!
