Another one of the Rolling Kitchens Festival.
Could get the whole picture in front so here the missing link, the man with the hat.
Linking to Monday Murals
I hadn't recognized that this was inspired by a french painting too, "the Luncheon" by Pierre-Auguste Renoir. Just as last week's mural I posted. Thanks to blogger "Halcyon".

BeantwoordenVerwijderenThank you, I hadn't noticed this. Last week I had the Manet painting recognized and posted it too.

Bonjour Riet. I have meant to stop by to thank you for the kind message you left on my blog a few days ago. I was deeply touched by the response my last post received. I see life is treating you well. I enjoyed looking at the lively murals, and am happy you posted an illustration of "The Luncheon." I used to work across the Seine river from the restaurant where Renoir painted that scene. In fact, I had lunch on that very terrace on a regular basis. If you would like to read the story on the blog, it is called "A Sunday in the country." Thank you again for your kindness. A bientôt, Veronique (French Girl in Seattle)
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThat is so interesting to see the similarity in the mural and Renoir's piece.

Dank je wel, hoe weet je dat?? Onthouden van vorig jaar?
VerwijderenNee, onthouden is op onze leeftijd gevaarlijk... maar een lijst met aantekeningen helpt wel!
VerwijderenLiefs,
Mariette
