As our plane would leave in the afternoon, we spend some time in Dublin.
It is a big city.
With a huge postoffice.
Many statues as this one of James Joyce (1882-1941) the famous Irish writer of "Ulysses".
The entrance to the National Library of Ireland with an old photo showing how it looked long ago. The gate at the left hadn't changed a bit.
We had a look inside at the beautiful domed reading room, no photo's allowed, so you have to do it with this display outside.
And then off to Amsterdam.
I had a window seat and had a good look at the greenhouses for fruit, flowers and vegetables in our country.
And a not so crowdy highway.
So and now back to normal again, I hope you enjoyed my tour as much as I did.

I have thoroughly enjoyed your trip. How fun to see the old pictures in front of the library. Even though the building has remained the same, our fashions have certainly changed. Maybe we could have stopped somewhere in between?

Often wen we landed those greenhouses were lit, in the early morning when there was no daylight yet; even more impressive looking.
