The beautiful weather we had for quite some time here has changed into heavy downpours. I don't feel to go out but express my feelings by these pictures from Copenhagen. The weather was not so pretty when we were there and the Danish people are rather simular as the Dutch, always take an umbrella with you for "you never know what the weather will be".
And rain is also no reason to leave your bike home.
Holy mackerel! The lady with the bike is taking a good soaking.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenYou're a brave lot like us Maritimers - a little rain hurts no one. I like those bicycles too. That girl is quite spunky to get on er bike n go anyway eh.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenRainy here, too. But my bicycle will remain unused today, I'm thinking. :-)
BeantwoordenVerwijderenFun photos of a wet day. Love the dribbles on the lens.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI always carry a small umbrella in my purse. I too like to stay in if I can on rainy days.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI noticed when I visited Amsterdam that the rain doesn't deter the cyclists at all! Very brave, as at the first sign of rain we left our bikes behind and hopped on the tram instead.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenYou can send the rain to California if you wish.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenWe should take a lesson from the Dutch and learn to ride bike in the rain. We are getting better at riding in the winter. Yes, you have dismal weather.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenEn regen verveelt altijd snel..
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThe kind of weather you don't want to go out in!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenAnd intrepid and bedraggled bicyclist in that last shot!

Today we have your rainy weather. Always enjoy rain, the soft as well as the turbulent.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenDearest Marianne,
BeantwoordenVerwijderenNo doubt that Denmark is almost identical to the wet climate of The Netherlands.
Great for beautiful gardens and for growing fruits and veggies...
Hugs,
Mariette
