In Copenhagen I saw these strange men in a park.
And these two in a street.
And again two on a square.
It happened to be an exhibition by female sculptor "Steinum Thorarinsdottir" from Iceland (1955) who's work is recognized by her use of androgynous human figures.
I haven't seen them all only the one's I saw accidental.
It was certainly surprising to see all these men. You got to keep the camera constantly on display.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThese men are very interesting.
Thanks for the link; I enjoyed reading about the artist. Also enjoyed your photos of these sculptures.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenHer work is very reminiscent of Sir Antony Gormley's sculpture
BeantwoordenVerwijderenLooks like they are all over the place.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenWel verrassend om ze zomaar op heel verschillende plekken tegen te komen.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenSort of strange looking.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI love that kind of installation!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThey are peculiar!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThey look interesting. I wonder how the other sculptures differ from the ones you've shown.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThe ones in the grass are especially intriguing.

BeantwoordenVerwijderenI like these. I'll have to look up this artist as I've never heard of her before.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI know those statue wouldn't come close to our little town of Bonners Ferry. Less then 10% of the people would be ok with them.
