Bus ride

Riding home in the bus from Amsterdam last Tuesday,  this was all I could see. Waves of water from the road had splashed against the window.

Hubby SC was reading his E-reader.

The lady next to me had also some reading to do. And me, I had nothing to read only a camera to play with.

  1. Given a choice I also would have preferred the camera.

  2. I enjoy reading but I also think a camera is a very fine companion.

  4. A wet and disagreeable day. I can read on a plane or train, but not in a bus or car.

  5. Am surprised you let an E -reader in the house......being a retired Librarian! Tom has one too and he loves it....

    1. I don't use one either, only paperworks. Have to feel and smell a book!

  6. I wonder if we will get a drought this summer after all this winter rain?

  7. An ex-librarian caught with nothing to read? Oh my, what has this world come to? I agree with you 100% - I have to have the feel and smell of a book in my hand. These electronic devices don't cut it for me to read a book by.

  8. What would we do without our E-readers. Mine has saved me so many times. My, that is some real rain. Glad I am not the bus driver. Good shots.

  13. Fun shots from your bus trip Marianne, much better than driving, or riding a bike :) in that weather.
