I remember times a macaroon was a speciality you could only get in France. And it was an exciting treat when someone took it for you from far away. Nowadays we have these shopwindows in Amsterdam, rows and rows of macaroons. The magic has gone for me it is just a cookie now.

En ik ben er wel eens naar op zoek geweest, ik zie ze hier maar zelden. Of ik kijk niet goed :)

BeantwoordenVerwijderenI know what you mean Marianne. It was the same before you could get Krispy Cremes in Perth, Aimee always used to buy them at Sydney airport to bring home, now we can get them here, we're just not interested 😊😊
BeantwoordenVerwijderenVery tasty!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenYes just too much of a good thing.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI like macaroons but these don't look like the macaroons I'm used to.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenWe don't have these macaroons (or I haven't seen). So to me these colorful cookies are lovely to see.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenIt is the same here - even the local grocery store has a huge display of them!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThe world at our door.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThey look delicious and I love the variety of colours in the photo, very attractive.
BeantwoordenVerwijderengreat colours!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenBut don't they taste the best in Paris?
BeantwoordenVerwijderenYummy. Nice shot. Wonderful colours.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenIn our family, we only had macaroons at Christmas and my Mum bought them at a beautiful store in the uptown area "Manchester Robertson Allison", known locally as MRA's. Love the colours.
