A cold but sunny Sunday. No skaters yet here, the ice was too thin. Other parts of the Netherlands had many skaters on the ponds in nature and parks for the first time in five years. Our winters were not cold enough for good ice a couple of years.
I always think of that expression 'skating on thin ice' when I see shots like this Marianne ☺ I'm sure it wouldn't be fun to find yourself in that freezing water!
