The Waterloo square market in Amsterdam, dating from 1893, is the oldest fleamarket of the Netherlands, With 300 market stalls, six days in the week there is a lot to see and to find.
That photo intrigues me.
A creative way to present DVD's and CD's

This photo is not mine but made last week by a fellow working in the Town Hall next to the market. The same market stall owner as above, made this tribute to the beloved Lord Mayor of Amsterdam who had informed the people of Amsterdam the day before he is suffering a deadly illness. He has decided to continue his work als long as possible and could look from his office room down to this heartwarming message,

Voor elk wat wils. Leuk om je foto's te zien!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenFlea markets are always interesting. I do hope they weren't selling that black and white photo.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenWhat a place to go exploring!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenSorry to hear your Mayor. He must be very dedicated if he plans to continuing working.
In my posting today that was no bird sitting on the fence. It is a dead catfish.
What a thoughtful message - it is interesting at Fleamarkets how one person's rubbish is another person's treasure

prettige dag
That looks like so much fun! And such a heartwarming message for the Lord Mayor.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenHow very nice to see that message for the Lord Mayor. The flea market looks a cut above the boot sales I am used to!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenInteresting finds can be found at fleamarkets. I noticed an old wash board in the first photo, reminded me of my grandmother who used them when I was a kid.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenWhat a nice message for the mayor. He must be popular with the people.
The place looks very chaotic. A good message for the mayor.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenWow! This would be something to walk through!
BeantwoordenVerwijderenSo much to look at! I could spend the whole day there. That is a nice message.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenAww that is so nice. we never know when we will have a health scare
BeantwoordenVerwijderenWhat a lovely market. I'm sure I would find something to follow me.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI love fleamarkets, there are always so many things to see.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenThis one is very nice !
I remember when my mum was still with us she absolutely loved visiting the flea-markets so much. I haven't really been since she passed. What a lovely tribute to the Lord Mayor, can we hope for a miracle and he improves a little?
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI could go every week!
