This bronze figure is part of three walking people in the street to the Westerpark.
in Amsterdam. They represent the connection between a square and the park.
They date from 2001 and are made by sculptor Peter Erftemeijer.
The third one has reached the park behind him. Linking to "Our World Tuesday"
Ze zijn levensecht. Hoop dat ze niet vaak omver zijn gereden?

BeantwoordenVerwijderenVery interesting set of sculptures. They're not just standing there but give a message.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenWhat a great concept. It's something I have never seen and I like it that all three sculptures share the same goal, walking to the park.
BeantwoordenVerwijderenI like them very much. I hope the first one doesn't get knocked down by a car!
